One race that we probably don't mind the Cubs not winning.
I agree that on paper the Cubs are a weaker team without Harden and Bradley but adding Byrd the question of how much weaker is somewhat debatable. Let's not forget about the Silva addition.
The Mets came out as the biggest losers.

Truth: when Seattle managed to hoodwink someone into trading for Carlos Fucking Silva, it proved that absolutely <i>nobody</i> is untradeable. No matter how hideous that player's contract is. No matter how stupendously terrible the player may be. There is a market for <i>anyone</i>.
